MSV Co. (TEHRAN) _ Product quality improvement project of concentrate line 4 of Golgohar Sirjan industrial and mineral complex was carried out by MSV Co. with the participation of Fakour Sanat Tehran and Mineral Technology, and for the first time in Iran, a ball mill with two motors with weight More than 221 tons were installed and put into operation.
The purpose of the project was to improve the quality of the Golgohar line 4 concentrate product, to feed the pellet factory and to improve the productivity of the production lines.
The product of iron concentrate with a grade of more than 69%, moisture less than 7% and a weight of more than 1800 is transported to the pellet factory at the rate of 369 tons per hour or about 2 million and 657 thousand tons per year.
The ball mill is one of the best tools for crushing soft, hard and fibrous materials, and the variety of grinding methods in the ball mill makes it a suitable option for processing materials in a range of applications, while this process can be used for mechanical alloying and also used mechanochemical reactions.
